How do I prepare for an inner healing session?

  • Lord vs Savior

Many have welcomed Jesus as their Savior, yet have not fully surrendered to Him as their Lord. Let’s explore together how this can affect our healing journey and learn how to wholeheartedly embrace Jesus as both our Lord and Savior.

  • Secret Place

Jehovah Rapha—God our Healer—is the One who lovingly formed you and is ready to bring healing to your spirit, body, and soul. As Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us, when we call out to God, He reveals to us His secret things.

That’s exactly what we want to help you experience: how to enter into the secret place with Father God and encounter Him as your healer. Watch the video as a gentle guide on your journey into this sacred space.

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” —Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” —Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)

Remember, God created us to be human beings, not human doings. So let’s step into the secret place simply to be with Him.

Find a quiet moment alone with God—no distractions, no phones—just you and Him.

Turn up your volume and play this song:

Before you begin, know this: God doesn’t ask you to say or do anything as you listen. Just be still and receive the words as if He Himself is speaking them directly to your heart.

The song lasts 13 minutes—commit to doing this daily for 13 minutes.

Afterward, spend about 5 minutes declaring aloud the Scriptures over yourself from our declarations page, and truly believe them.

Do this for two weeks, and then let me know if you’re ready to move to the next level.

Enjoy this time of intimate communion with the Lord.

  • What will happen in the session?

Our inner healing sessions will last up to two hours, though the time may pass more quickly than you expect—sometimes feeling like just 20 minutes. During this sacred journey, you will be accompanied by an intercessor and a lead minister who will walk alongside you with prayer and support. For a deeper understanding of what to expect during your session, please watch the video.

  • The Secret of Fasting

We ask you to fast food and pray 24 hours before your session. There are many reasons this spiritual discipline will aid in the healing process. Check out the below teaching link from one of my favorite hero’s of the faith, Derek Prince.

  • Unforgiveness

Unforgiveness is the number one hinderance to healing. Let’s chat for a few minutes about how to let go of those who hurt us before we meet for an inner healing session. Watch the “How Do I Forgive” video.

Please note this teaching is from our group inner healing program, Come to the Table.

  • What if I can't hear God's voice?

Everyone is able to hear the voice of God. In this video, we will gently guide you through the various ways God communicates with us. You can be confident that during your inner healing session, God will speak directly to your heart. This part of the session has transformed the lives of many believers in profound and lasting ways.

This teaching includes two videos, where I share personal experiences of hearing God’s voice, as well as receiving visions, signs, and wonders.

Please note, this teaching is part of our group inner healing program, Come to the Table.

  • What Happens after the Session?

    This is so important!

As John 10:10 reminds us, “The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life—life in all its fullness.” After experiencing extraordinary healing and powerful encounters with the Lord, it’s vital to recognize that the enemy will often try to steal away what God has just done in your life. Watch this video to learn how we can continue to walk in healing, freedom, and victory.

We also offer additional sessions if you feel the need for them. We encourage you to complete at least three sessions—ideally one each month—as a foundation for lasting healing.

  • After Session: Read Psalms 103

“With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky! You’re a God who makes things right, giving justice to the defenseless. You unveiled to Moses your plans and showed Israel’s sons what you could do. Lord, you’re so kind and tenderhearted and so patient with people who fail you! Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. You don’t look at us only to find our faults, just so that you can hold a grudge against us. You may discipline us for our many sins, but never as much as we really deserve. Nor do you get even with us for what we’ve done. Higher than the highest heavens— that’s how high your tender mercy extends! Greater than the grandeur of heaven above is the greatness of your loyal love, towering over all who fear you and bow down before you! Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset— that’s how far you’ve removed our guilt from us. The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you. You know all about us, inside and out. You are mindful that we’re made from dust. Our days are so few, and our momentary beauty so swiftly fades away! Then all of a sudden we’re gone, like grass clippings blown away in a gust of wind, taken away to our appointment with death, leaving nothing to show that we were here. But Lord, your endless love stretches from one eternity to the other, unbroken and unrelenting toward those who fear you and those who bow facedown in awe before you. Your faithfulness to keep every gracious promise you’ve made passes from parents, to children, to grandchildren, and beyond. You are faithful to all those who follow your ways and keep your word. Yahweh has established his throne in heaven; his kingdom rules the entire universe. So bless the Lord, all his messengers of power, for you are his mighty heroes who listen intently to the voice of his word to do it. Bless and praise the Lord, you mighty warriors, ministers who serve him well and fulfill his desires. I will bless and praise the Lord with my whole heart! Let all his works throughout the earth, wherever his dominion stretches— let everything bless the Lord!”

What We Believe

Rapha Nation Statement to Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

  3. We believe in:

    • the full deity and full humanity of Christ (John 1:1–14; Hebrews 1:3–5, 2:5–18),

    • His virgin birth (Luke 1:26–38),

    • His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15),

    • His miracles (John 10:31–38),

    • His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 2:24),

    • His bodily resurrection (John 20:1–31; Acts 1:1–3; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8),

    • His ascension to the right Hand of the Father (Acts 1:4–11),

    • His present rule as Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22, 5:23; Colossians 1:18), and

    • His personal return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11–16; 22:7–21).

  4. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (2 Corinthians 3:17–18).

  5. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion (John 14:15–21; Romans 8:1–11; 1 Corinthians 12:3).

  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders, and classes (Colossians 3:11).

A Prayer from the Founder

“God, I thank you that you are our protector. You go before us and you are our rear guard. You are also a patient God who loves us. Thank you for your child reading this and for their hearts to pursue you. The enemy is tormenting them right now, which I know you are not happy about. I’m not happy either. You have given us the power and authority to tell the enemy to leave. IN JESUS NAME, I take authority over  every lying spirit that may try to speak right now. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is allowed to speak to them as they seek God in the above endeavors. God, I know you will reveal your truth to them because you are the truth. I release boldness, faith, peace, and love that casts out all fear into them now. Thank you, Jesus.”
